When does the league start? What does it cost?

How old do I have to be to play?

To play in the Over-18 league you must be 18 by December 31, 2008 to be eligible.  To play in the Over-35 league you must be 35 by December 31, 2008. 

How do I get on a team?

Simply call us at 770-788-8077 and you will be assigned a team according to team needs.  For example, if you are a catcher, you might be assigned to a team that was looking for one.  All players with at least some baseball background will be assigned to a team, assuming there are openings.  No signing bonuses!

How good are the players?  How fast are the pitchers?

The players range from former little league players to former high school/college players.  A few may have played minor league ball.  Most are a long ways from being top players today.  The guys who have played recently in adult leagues are usually better than the guys who haven't played in years.  There are very few pitchers who pitch in the 80 mph range, let alone in the 90's.

What about uniforms?

You will need a jersey, with a number (names not necessary), pants, socks, a cap, and cleats -- metal or plastic.  Each team will decide on their own uniforms, so ask your manager what to get and where.
